Q: What co-ordinate system do you use?

A: We use Lambert Conformal Conic Projection (ETRS-89) co-ordinates so that we can include content for places outside Great Britain including Ireland. We cannot use individual national co-ordinate sets joined together, because our spatial software cannot work with multiple co- ordinate systems simultaneously.
