Dechmont House, a mansion in Livingstone parish, Linlithgowshire, 3½ miles WSW of Uphall station. Its owner, Mrs Meldrum, holds 1200 acres in the shire, valued at £1860 per annum. A little to the NE are Dechmont village and Dechmont Hill (686 feet), which commands a very extensive prospect.
