Douglas Water, a burn of Arrochar and Luss parishes, Dumbartonshire, formed by two head-streams, within ¾ mile of Loch Long, and running 4¾ miles east-by-southward, chiefly along the mutual boundary of the two parishes, to Loch Lomond at Inveruglas, opposite Rowardennan. Its basin is a grand glen, flanked on the N side by Tullich Hill (2075 feet), Ben Vreac (2233), and Stob Gobhlach (1413), and on the S by Donne Hill (2409), Mid Hill (2149), and Ben Dubh (2106).Ord.
