Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Ellrig

Ellrig, a lake in the NE of Slamannan parish, Stirlingshire, 3½ miles S of Falkirk. Measuring 5½ by 1¼ furlongs, it sends off a small burn, of some water power, 9 furlongs south-westward to the Avon.
