Farr, an estate, with a mansion, in Daviot and Dunlichity parish, Inverness-shire, on the Nairn's left bank, 6¾ miles SS W of Daviot church. Its owner, Francis Henry Pottinger Mackintosh, Esq. (b. 1840; suc. 1880), holds 4500 acres in the shire, valued at £935 per annum.
