Fatlips Castle, an ancient fortalice in Minto parish, Roxburghshire, on the crown of Minto Crags, near the left bank of the Teviot, ¾ mile ENE of Minto House. Supposed to have been a stronghold of the Turnbulls, it is figured in Grose's Antiquities of Scotland, and appears there as still comprising two stories; but it is now a small fragmentary ruin.
