Fionnchairn or Fincharn, a ruined fortalice in Kilmichael-Glassary parish, Argyllshire, on the steep SE margin of Loch Awe, 2½ miles ENE of Ford, near the loch's head. A small but strong keep, it is said by tradition to have belonged to a chieftain called Mac Mhic Jain, and to have been burned by a vassal whose wife he had wronged, and by whom he himself was slain.
