Purchased by his ancestor in the latter half of the 17th century, the estate is now held by Robert Francis Ogilvie Farquharson, Esq. (b. 1823; suc. 1854), who owns 4500 acres in the shire, valued at £3774 per annum.Ord. Sur., sh. 76, 1874.
