Ket, a streamlet of Glasserton and Whithorn parishes, SW Wigtownshire. Rising ¾ mile WNW of Glasserton church, and within 1 mile of Luce Bay, it describes a semicircle round by Whithorn town, and, after an easterly run of 5 ½ miles, falls into the sea at Portyerrock.—Ord. Sur., sh. 2, 1856.
