Lynedoch Cottage or House, a mansion in Methven parish, Perthshire, standing, amid beautiful grounds, on the left bank of the river Almond, 2 miles NNE of Methven village- and 7 WNW of Perth. The estate belonged to General Thomas Graham (1750-1843), one of the heroes of the Peninsular War, and the victor of Barossa, and it gave him the title of Baron on his elevation to the peerage in 1814.
