Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Milton-Brodie

Milton-Brodie, a quadrangular mansion, sheltered by tall trees, in Alves parish, NW Elginshire, 1¾ mile NE of Kinloss station and 5¼ miles SSW of Burghead. Its owner, the Rev. John Brodie-Innes (b. 1816; suc. 1861), holds 1237 acres in the shire, valued at £l755 per annum.—Ord. Sur., sh. 95, 1876.
