Pirn, an estate, with a mansion, in Stow parish, Edinburghshire, on the right bank of Gala Water, 3 miles NNW of Stow village. Remains of a Roman camp are at Pirntaiton, 2 miles further NNW, near Fountainhall station.—Ord. Sur., sh. 25, 1865.
