Pitcairlie, an estate, with a mansion, in Newburgh parish, Fife, 2½ miles N of Auchtermuchty. Its owner, Robert Cathcart, Esq. (b. 1833; suc. 1857), holds 1050 acres in the shire, valued at £1643 per annum.—Ord. Sur., sh. 48, 1868.
