Pitfichie Castle, a roofless ruin in Monymusk parish, Aberdeenshire, 1¾ mile NNW of Monymusk station. It belonged, with a small estate around it, to the family of General Hurry, who figured in the times of the Covenanters; and it passed to the Forbes family, proprietors of the Monymusk estate.
