Speddoch, a mansion in Holywood parish, Dumfriesshire, 10 miles WNW of Dumfries. Its owner, John Henry Gilchrist Clark, Esq. (b. 1861; suc. 1881), holds 1499 acres in the shire, valued at £1275 per annum.—Ord. Sur., sh. 9, 1863.
