Tima Water, a troutful hill-stream of Ettrick parish, Selkirkshire, rising on the Dumfriesshire boundary at an altitude of 1300 feet, and running 63/8 miles north-north-eastward and northward, till, after a descent of 525 feet, it falls into Ettrick Water at Ramseycleuch, 1 mile E of Ettrick church.Ord. Sur., sh. 16, 1864.
