Chinley, Bugsworth, and Brownside, township with ry. sta. (Chinley), Glossop par., N. Derbyshire, on SW. side of The Peak, 2½ miles NW. of Chapel-en-le-Frith, 3831 ac., pop. 1233; ½ mile S. of ry. sta. is Chinley Churn, eminence, 1493 ft. high; and to N. are the Chinley Hills.
