Floors Castle, seat of the Duke of Roxburghe, on left bank of river Tweed, in par. and 1 mile W. of Kelso, Roxburghshire; built 1718 (by Sir John Vanbrugh), and remodelled 1849, it is now a palatial Tudor pile, with extensive grounds and gardens.
