Halkin (or Halkyn), par. and vil., in co. and 2½ miles SW. of Flint, 3408 ac., pop. 1376; P.O.; here is Halkin Castle, seat of Marquis of Westminster. In vicinity is Halkin Mountain (993 ft.) with ancient camp.
