Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Invermay

Invermay, seat, formerly of the Belshes family, now of Lord Clinton, in par. and 1½ mile SE. of Forteviot sta., SE. Perthshire; stands on May Water, amid the "Birks of Invermay;" near the modern house are the remains of an old baronial fortalice.
