Inverugie.-- vil. with ry. sta. (¾ mile SW.), St Fergus par., detached part of Banffshire, near mouth of river Ugie, 2½ miles NW. of Peterhead; adjacent are the ruins of Inverugie Castle, long a seat of the Keiths, Earls Marischal.
