Penielheugh, eminence, Crailing par., Roxburghshire, 44 miles NE. of Jedburgh, alt. 774 ft.; is crowned by the Waterloo Column (150 ft. high), erected by the Marquis of Lothian and his tenantry in 1815; there are vestiges of two Roman camps.
