Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Kent, The

Kent, The, river, Westmorland, rises on E. side of High Street Mountain, and floes S. past Kendal to Morecambe Bay; is 20 miles long, including 5½ miles of estuary, and is a good fishing river.
