Uffculme, par. and vil. with ry. sta., Devon, on river Culm, 2¾ miles NE. of Tiverton Junction and 7¼ miles E. of Tiverton, 6122 ac., pop. 1811; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank. Uffculme, anciently called Upculm, was long, from 1266, a market town; its ales have a considerable local reputation.
