Bray, township and market town, in pars. of Bray (co. Wicklow) and Oldconnaught (co. Dublin), on river Bray, 13 miles SE. of Dublin by rail, 1070 ac., pop. 6535; 1 Bank, 1 newspaper. Market - days, Tuesday and Saturday. The chief part of the town is situated in co. Wicklow; the part within co. Dublin is called Little Bray. It is a fashionable watering-place and winter residence; the surrounding scenery being beautiful and attractive, and the climate bracing and salubrious.
