Innellan, quoad sacra par. and vil., with steamboat pier, Dunoon and Kilmun par., Argyllshire, on Firth of Clyde, 3¾ miles S. of Dunoon and 30 miles by river from Glasgow - par., pop. 1061; vil., pop. 859; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank; was founded in 1843, and rapidly rose to importance among the watering-places on the Clyde; Innellan Hill is 935 ft. high.
