Killybegs.-- seaport town, Upper Killybegs par., in SW. of co. and 17 miles W. of Donegal, pop. 764; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank. Market-day, Friday. The salmon and herring fisheries are productive. The bay affords safe anchorage for the largest vessels; on St John's Point and Rotten Island are 2 lighthouses, each 47 ft. high, with fixed lights (Killybegs) 98 and 66 ft. above high water and seen 14 and 12 m.
