Llanrhaiadr-yn-Mochnant, vil., Denbighshire, and par. partly also in Montgomeryshire - par., 23,294ac., pop. 2264; vil., at border of cos., on Rhaiadr stream, 4 miles NW. of Llanfyllin; P.O., called Llanrhaiadr; the par. comprises 2 townships - North Llanrhaiadr (forming the Denbigh portion), 13,497 ac., pop. 1383; and South Llanrhaiadr (forming the Montgomery portion), 9797 ac., pop. 881.
