Llanwrtyd, par. and ry. sta. (Llanwrtyd Wells), in NW. of Brecknockshire, on river Irvon, 10 miles SW. of Builth Road sta., 11,335 ac., pop. 848; P.O., T.O.; is a pleasant little watering-place, surrounded by fine scenery, and has chalybeate and sulphureous springs.
