Lochbuy, hamlet, Torosay par., Mull island, Argyllshire, at head of Loch Buy, 12 m. SW. of Auchnacraig; P.O.; a pre-Reformation chapel is now the mausoleum of the Maclaines, whose seat is Lochbuy House; at Moy, adjacent, are the ruins of their old castle.
