(Kirk Michael), in NW. of Isle of Man, 6½ miles NE. of Peel and 9 miles SW. of Ramsey - par., 8772 ac., pop. 1101; P.O., called Kirkmichael; the sheading comprises the pars. of Michael, Ballaugh, and Jurby; the churchyard contains the tomb of Bishop Wilson (1663-1755) and 7 Runic monuments.
