Muckle Roe, island, Delting par., Shetland, in St Magnus Bay, 27 miles NW. of Lerwick, pop. 230; is circular in outline, with a diameter of 3J miles, and is separated from the mainland by Roe Sound (200 yards wide at the narrowest); greatest alt. 557 ft.
