Panteg (or Panteague), par. and vil. with ry. sta., Monmouthshire - par. (containing Pontymoel, Peny-rheol, &c.), 3454 ac., pop. 3321; vil., 2 miles SE. of Pontypool; P.O.; extensive iron works give employment to the inhabitants. The entire par. is a local government dist.
