Poulton.-- (or Poulton le Sands), township, Lancaster par., N. Lancashire, on Morecambe Bay, 3½ miles NW. of Lancaster, 1725 ac. and 4363 foreshore, pop. 3931; the township forms a local government district called Poulton, Bare and Torrisholme. See MORECAMBE.
