Southborough, town, Tunbridge par., Kent, 2 miles N. of Tunbridge Wells, pop. 3870; P.O., T.O., and P.O. at Southborough New Town, 2 Banks. It is said that the Cavalier section of the visitors to Tunbridge Wells in Charles the First's time principally lodged at Southborough, which has now numerous pleasant villas and residences. There is a fine cricket ground.
