Stennes, quoad sacra par., Firth and Stennes, and Sandwick pars., Pomona, Orkney, on the Loch of Stennes, 4 miles NE. of Stromness and 10 miles W. of Kirkwall, pop. 697; P.O.; 1 mile NW. of Stennes church are the "Standing Stones of Stennes," two groups of ancient stone circles similar to those at Stonehenge.
