Wynyard, ry. sta., Durham, 6 miles N. of Stockton; Wynard Park, seat of the Marquis of Londonderry, is 2 miles SE. of the sta.; the mansion is a magnificent edifice in the Grecian style, and has a large statue gallery. An obelisk in the park commemorates Wellington's visit in 1827.
