Yscir-Fawr and Yscir-fechan, 2 hamlets, Merthyr-Cynog par., Brecknockshire, on the Yscir, 11 miles NW. of Brecknock; the Yscir rises on Mynydd Epynt, and flows 12 miles SE. to the Usk at Aberyscir, 2½ miles NW. of Brecknock.
