Farrar, river, Ross-shire and Inverness-shire; rises 9 miles E. of head of Loch Carron, flows E. through Glen Strathfarrar (expanding into Lochs Monar, Mhuilinn, and Bunacharan), and unites with the Glass to form the Beauly near Erchless Castle; is 27½ miles long, and has trout and grilse.
