Morvern (or Morven), par., NW. Argyllshire, forming a peninsula between Lochs Sunart and Linnhe, 90,737 ac., pop. 828; P.O, T.O.; contains the islands of Carna and Oronsay. Morvern is the scene of Recollections of a Highland Parish, a work of Norman Macleod, D.D. (1812-1872).
