Broxmouth, hamlet, on E. coast of Haddingtonshire, at mouth of Broxburn river, 1½ mile SE. of Dunbar. Broxmouth Park is a seat of the Duke of Roxburghe. On the low ground to the W. Cromwell defeated the Scottish army under Leslie (1650).
