Robertsbridge (or Rotherbridge), vil. with ry. sta., Salehurst par., Sussex, on river Rother, 5½ miles N. of Battle; P.O., T.O., 2 Banks. Market-day, Friday. Adjacent are remains of a Cistercian abbey, founded in 1176.
