Twizel, township and ry. sta., Norham par., Northumberland, at the confluence of the Till and the Tweed, Smiles NE. of Cornhill, 2273 ac., pop. 274; contains Twizel Castle; Twizel Bridge, over the Till, was crossed by the English on their way to Flodden (1513), and figures in Marmion.
