LLANGOLLEN RAILWAY, a railway in Denbigh and Merioneth; up the vale of the Dee, from Ruabon to Corwan; and consisting of two portions, the Vale of Llangollen and the Llangollen and Corwen, meeting in a joint-station at Llangollen. The V. of L. portion is 5 miles long, and was authorized in 1859, and opened in 1862; and the L. andportion is 10 miles long, and was authorized in 1860.
