Search for a place
KINGSDALE, an upland vale in W. R. Yorkshire; flanked on the E by Whernside mountain; separated on the W by a mountain ridge from Lancashire; and descending southward to a junction with Gretadale immediately above Ingleton. It contains curious caves, and affords grand views of Whernside and Ingleborough.
