HULL AND HOLDERNESS RAILWAY, a railway in E. R. Yorkshire; from Hull eastward to Withernsea. It is 18 miles long; was authorized in 1853, and opened in 1854; and was vested, at 4 per cent., in the Northeastern Railway Co., in 1862.
