GLYNLLIFON, the seat of Lord Newborough, in Carnarvonshire; on the Llifon, 5¼ miles SSW of Carnarvon. The property belonged anciently to Cilmin Troed Du, ancestor of one of the tribes of North Wales; and passed to the Glynnes. The present mansion is recent and splendid; and the grounds include a mausoleum, a fort, and an ancient carreg or pillar.
