Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Achaneilein

Achaneilein, a quagmire or quaking bog in Ardnamurchan parish, Argyllshire. It lies along the S side of Loch Shiel, is of unknown depth, and measures upwards of 5 miles in length and ¾ mile in breadth.
