DORE (The), a river of Hereford. It rises on the west border of the county, 2½ miles E of Hay; and runs 12 miles south-eastward, through the Golden Vale, past Dorstone, Peterchurch, and Abbey-Dore, to the river Munnow, near Pontrilas.
