CARNARVON RAILWAYS, four railways in Carnarvonshire. One, the Bangor and C., goes from Bangor station toAnother, the and Nanttle, goes 9 miles fromto Llandwrog; and was authorised in 1867 to go 8½ miles further. Another, the Carnarvonshire, goes 17 miles fromto Avon Wen; became united with the preceding; and was opened in Sept. 1867. Another, the and Llanberis, was authorised in 1864 to go 9 miles fromto L.; and in 1865, to have an extension to the Bangor and C., and a branch into the Bettws-Garmon Valley.
